 Rescue Remedy 10ml By: Bach Remedies Average Rating: 4.0 Total Reviews: 10 More Information Really great product  On: 2010-04-14this really works well. just put 2-3 drops on your tongue when youre feeling restless/stressed or anything like and within a few minutes you feel calmer and able to think more rationally. its not addicting at all and you dont "need it" all the time. highly recommended. Helps make things manageable On: 2010-04-07I initially ordered this to use during my early labor and has since proven to be a good tool in the medicine chest. For the early labor- it didnt make the pain of labor go away, but that was not my intention...it DID make the anxiety and stress of this new situation so much more manageable. I ended up having the labor of my dreams. Then, I used it to settle down and sleep as I have gone to bed counting the endless tasks I left at work while on maternity leave. Again, it didnt solve the issues but it made accepting the fact that there was nothing I could do so much easier. I have a newborn with colic- I take some Rescue Remedy and it is manageable to me. I thought maybe it was more effective on more intense personalities, but I recently gave my bottle to my more laissez-faire sister(who is currently facing some very stressful situations)and she said one dose helped her stress diminish radically all day, without impairing her. If it is placebo, at least it is cheaper than prescription meds. Bach's the Best On: 2010-03-08I always keeps several tubes of this product in my home medi kit; it is the best for anything and everything. And after tending friends w/ it when they come by w/ a problem, they come back for more info on the product. AND.....I dont leave home w/o it. been helping  On: 2010-02-25Have always had my days and nights flipped flopped and takes a very long time to correct it. I have been trying the product for 3 nights and I have been able to fall a sleep before 2 and wake up at 9:30 without an alarm. For me thats a success. The first night I did have a crazy crazy dream but nothing out of the norm after that. Would recommend this product to anyone who needs a little help. Happy Winter Hands On: 2010-02-22This is a light and non-greasy cream with a pleasant scent. It keeps dry wintery hands feeling nice and smooth. Its also soothing on small scratches. Great Price On: 2010-02-19I was already familiar with the product, but there price is the best I have found anywhere. Quiet mind, quiet night, finally some sleep! On: 2010-02-14I have been having problems sleeping for a few weeks now, basically my mind wont stop racing and I cant fall asleep. With my mind racing, my heart rate goes way high and its almost like Im working out. I tried to take a few Tylenol PMs the other night to get some sleep but it didnt calm my mind and my heart kept racing while I was knocked out for only 20 minutes, which lead to a fever and sweating since my heart rate was so high. I was at Whole Foods the other day and decided that I should give this a try. I also bought a box of Kava root tea to help. I wasnt wound up when I went to go to sleep last night, but I was a little anxious. Two sprays of the Rescue Remedy on my tongue was a little big of a shock, it is 27% alcohol so I dont know why I didnt expect it to taste like a shot. But as I learned, just do it quickly and the taste is gone almost instantly. I drank my Kava tea and popped in a DVD and within about 15 minutes, I found my eyes getting really heavy and my mind slowing down. I made it barely thru one half hour episode on the DVD and decided to turn off my light. Suddenly it was 6 and a half hours later and I woke up and noticed my tv was on and it was 6:30 in the morning. I woke up because the 16 oz of tea demanded I do so, I took care of that and decided 2 more sprays on my tongue might help me sleep a little later. 4 hours later I woke up again and felt so incredibly rested and not at all groggy. Genuinely, this will help you sleep and its very nice to wake up without any woozy feeling. Im very happy with this product and so thankful I was able to get some rest! Nothing!  On: 2010-02-07I should have paid attention to the other reviews before purchasing. Would not buy again. I tried it on a rescue dog who was very scared - I saw no difference in my dog after using this product. Rescue Remedy-For ALL pet owners On: 2010-02-01This little bottle contains a liquid and dropper; the herbal preparation DOES calm the pet who is stressed (for travel) and/or other reasons during anxiety. Im glad to see its available at Amazon. Excellent and effective. In my opinion, its worth every dollar. Waste of money on this one for me On: 2009-12-06I purchased it and my cat wont even take it through mouth. I spray it on food. Its not working. Didn't work  On: 2009-11-21I work @ a vet and people have raved about how much it has worked for their pets and even a co-worker recommended I try this for relieving stress. Not only did it not work for me, but the taste is nauseating...it tastes like liquor. I would not recommend this product for a person with a high stress level. Another co-worker suggested Composure for Humans by VetriScience. Composure was developed for dogs, cats, and horses, but is also available for humans. I think I may try this instead. Natural Sleep Remedy On: 2009-10-22I would recommend this supplement for anybody having problem falling asleep. It works fast but mild, non-addictive, and does not leave one groggy in the morning. Subtle Stress Relief On: 2009-09-09As far as Im aware, this specific product is for use on humans, not dogs, as another reviewer says here. I suppose everyone reacts differently to a product like this. I find that it works in a gentle, subtle way. Just a couple sprays in the mouth and I feel a moment of calm. Excellent Product! On: 2009-08-26This product is wonderful. Ive used it for many things, from rough, dry skin to rashes and insect bites and it has helped soothe them dramatically. It is gentle and unscented; also light-feeling and non-greasy. It absorbs quickly and doesnt seem to leave a noticeable residue. Ive even used it on my dogs paw when he had an itchy hot spot and it helped to heal it up very quickly. A little goes a long way, and a tube has lasted me quite a while. Highly effective, unscented, antibiotic free On: 2009-08-07Weve been using this product for about 10 years now. Its super on all kinds of skin irritations. Weve used it on minor burns, diaper rash, cuts and scrapes, sunburn, etc. The pain and inflammation are gone by the next day if it goes on at night. One tube lasts a long time because you only need a little at a time. I like that it soothes and heals without antibiotics as these are way overused and ultimately create super bacteria. Theres really no scent and my sensitive-skinned other has had no adverse reactions to it. Great stuff! Headache! On: 2009-07-25I tried rescue sleep in the spray bottle. Not only did I not sleep it had the reverse effect on me. My mind did not relax at all. I even tried reading but I could not sleep. The taste is not very pleasant either, maybe it is the alcohol in it but I have had a headache for hours. Rescue Remedy On: 2009-04-24I got the idea to try this after reading Cecile Lamalles books with Charley Poissons French chef character. Charley always pops a few drops of this on his tongue when confronted with a stressful situation - when I saw it in a health food store in New Hampshire I thought "Why not try it, Im stressed a lot these days?" Well, I wont say it totally took away my stress, but Ive gone through several bottles now, and whether it really works or just makes me think its doing something (the mind is a wonderful thing) - I usually do feel more able to deal with harsh situations after Ive had a few drops. It does have alcohol in it, but I dont see how that could be a problem, considering you only use a few drops. Didn't work for our dog On: 2008-12-29We have a rescued dog who has turned out to have severe separation anxiety, and weve been trying many different things that might help him. We bought the pet version of Rescue Remedy hoping it would help -- but at least for our dog, it seemed to have no effect. It may be that his anxiety is too strong for this product to help it -- were trying prescription medicine from our vet next. Great for a trip to the dentist! On: 2008-11-27Ive used Rescue Remedy with cats but never tried it myself. Then my periodontist (a scientist!) recommended that I use it pre-surgury to calm my nerves, and use a few drops more during the surgury any time that I started to feel anxious. It really did take the edge off without making me feel drowsy. Now I use it whenever I go to the dentist for any reason or any other stressful situation, even at work. Its worth a try.
