I am grateful for a product that worked so well. My poor dog has had ear problems for years. Despite treatments with Vet prescribed drugs, nothing ever gave much relief. Now my dog is happy and does not constantly scratch his ears.

Our 7 year old terri-poo has had chronic trouble with him ears. Weve taken him to the vet many times, with little to no success. It got so bad that he would whimper if you accidently touched his ears when rubbing his head. I did lots of research, saw the good reviews for the product and decided to try it. Within 3 or 4 days, there was a difference......a week later, it was miraculous. Charlie has beautiful, healthy pink ears, no sensitivity at all. It is wonderful. This has lasted for about 6 months now, and I am about to re-order. We put it in his ears about 3-4 days per month, or if we notice him scratching/digging at his ears.
You do need to follow the directions which say NOT to clean the ears during treatment. That is hard, because it gets gunky, but the reward is well worth it.
I cant recommend this highly enough. When Charlie was suffering, I felt so helpless and like a "bad" pet owner. Thanks, zymox!

We just spent $70.00 at the vets to rid our beagle of swimmers ear. Did not work at all, actually got worse. Ordered this product and it was several days before we saw an improvement but was totally gone by the end of the week. Will rely on this product from now on!

My black lab started shaking her head a lot. We bought some stuff from a local pet store to clean her ears, and it didnt help. We bought some stuff thats supposed to treat for mites, which seemed to help, but that didnt last. My dog hated getting these things put in her ears.
In a last ditch effort, I bought this product after reading some positive reviews online. At first, my dog was very apprehensive and didnt want me getting anywhere near her with this. I had to catch her and hold her down to put this stuff in her ears. Apparently, she likes it a lot more than the earlier stuff, because shell let me put this in her ears now (she still doesnt seem thrilled about it, just doesnt run away like she did).
After a few days of treating her ears with this product, there was a noticeable decrease in her head shaking, and the odor that came from one of her ears is no longer there. So, all in all, I think this product worked very well for me.
As for the seller, I had no problems there, either. I placed my order and received my product in a timely manner. I was satisfied with the transaction, and would buy from the same seller again without hesitation.

My dogs ears have never looked so pink! She was plagued with ear infection after ear infection until I started using Zymox Otic in her ears approx. once a week. She has not had an ear infection since. Would highly recommend this product.

My coon hound was getting continued ear infections and nothing worked. Finally I found Zymox and the ear infection cleared up entirely within 7 days. I used for 10 days to be sure. Now I use the rinse weekly. Zymox is the answer.

Wow! After countless vet visits and lotsa $$$, through on-line research I found that the cause for my Bloodhound Gus chronic ear infections was yeast and not all the other options the vets suggested. Zymox worked very fast to kill the yeast in his ears and I am glad to say was a cost effective way to end his misery. After using Zymox, several months later, my 130 lb. Bloodhound has clean ears, is no longer in pain, doesnt scratch endlessly and we are all happy.

My puppy got an ear rash, along with a bad smell in his ears. This progressed to all over skin disease, with rashes & itchy scaly skin. I had him tested for mange, the vet gave me antibiotics that did not work-telling me more tests for allergies, etc.
I put the drops in his ear, then coated his body with the Zymox rinse. In 4 hours the rash was gone from his ears. The next day his skin was not itchy, the redness was gone.
This should be the vets first treatment option for skin disease and ear infections.
Great product because it works, amazing!

I tried this stuff out and it worked just fine for a few days, seemed like it was working. Turns out, it was probably just the hydrocortizone kicking in. Went to Vets Best ear cleaner/wash and PROBLEM SOLVED.

I was skeptical and not sure I should buy something without running it buy the vet, but I was desperate. After months of horrible ear infections, hundreds of dollars in medicine and a $500 procedure, my labs ear infections were getting worse. Ten dollars later, his ears are absolutely fine.

I used this product regularly on my dogs ears. He produces a lot of wax in one ear and frequently gets mild ear infections. As soon as I see him messing with his ear, I treat with this solution and in a day or two hes better. Also use it as a preventative along with the Zymox ear cleanser after each bath. This has saved me a lot of unneccessary trips to the vet. Highly recommended.

I have 2 labs that always have ear problems. Trips to the vet and tresaderm/otimax and baytril (sorry sp?) works and cost me hundreds. A month or two later, the infections back. I tried this product about 6 months ago and just recently bought more as I saw the signs of the ear infections coming back. 6 months is a long time for my 2 labs so I am more than pleased with the cost and how great this works. I wished I tried this a couple years ago, for my dogs sake!! Highly recommend a try for your pet. Its so worth it because my vet trips start at $50 walking through the door.

We have a 9 year old female Lab that has chronic ear problems associated with allergies. She has been to the Vet every 2 - 3 months for years without real relief. I read about Zymox written by a Vet on the Internet and thought we would give it a try. WOW, we were shocked how well it works. Now when she has a flare up in her ears, we start this treatment. The answer was an online review - just as I am doing now - a personal experience review. It was simple - use ZYMOX OTIC Enzymatic Solution (which is 1% HydroCortisone) as directed on the bottle. Im fortunate that this is only the second ear infection my 4 year old cocker spaniel has had since he had one as a pup. Because Im well aware of difficulties treating many infections today due to the over prescribing of antibiotics, Im excited to find an effective treatment that will not contribute to further making infections antibiotic resistant. There are times when antibiotics are necessary, but as long as this treatment is available, I will use it first and monitor before going to the antibiotic. I also purchased the ear cleanser and hopefully may not have to worry about treatment.

Used several medications on my Black Labs chronic ear infections. Vet kept telling me it was allergies and would be a maintenance thing that I would have to constantly work on. I used Animax several times which cleared it up but once I stopped it would come back. Since using the Zymox solution for about 2 weeks the head shaking, scratching, discharge and smell have gone from my dogs ears. I still put it in her ears once a week to maintain the ears but she has responded much better to this than any other medication I have tried.

A St.Bernard adopted us a few years ago and the old stories yukky, terrible,smelly ears. Vet bills-tried everything. Got this figured try it cant hurt. I am on my 4 day WHAT a difference reddness is disappearing smell no more.I cannot believe it she is not shaking head or digging in her ears.

Used the Zymox on my Maltese for 8 days and the infection cleared up. He looked kind of dirty around the ears during the treatment but it washed off well. His ears no longer smell bad.

This is even better than I imagined. My Doberman had a severe ear infection. The vet had sedated him & put drains in. Even after that, it would not go away. After a week with Zymox, its gone!! Hes not scratching anymore & his ears are back to normal. GREAT PRODUCT!!!!!!

My dogs have had ear problems off and on for as long as Ive had dogs. Of all the various OTC and prescription products, Zymox seems to clear up the problem the easiest and quickest by far. As a note, I havent used this for yeast infections in the dogs ear but for what has been diagnosed by the vet as ear mites (thats the black stuff the accumulates in the ear canal). Also, I have found that if I use the product one a week it prevents it from coming back.

First, some background info: Im a veterinary technician with 7 years experience treating ear infections, both fungal and bacterial, so when my dog came home from the boarding kennel with a bad fungal infection in one ear, I figured I could take care of it easily. WRONG! I have tried to clear my dogs ear up for three years and that is NOT an exaggeration. Ive tried every over-the-counter ear cleanser out there plus the drops prescribed by my vet. NOTHING worked. Hes been scratching that ear for 3 years despite all efforts at flushing it, cleaning it twice a day and applying medicine faithfully. I finally decided he would just have to live the rest of his life with a chronic fungal infection in that ear. Then, I tried Zymox! Ive been using it strictly according to the instructions. This is only the 4th day of treatment and there is absolutely NO odor coming from that ear anymore! Its still dirty, but that is part of the protocol with this product. You leave the ear dirty and only clean it AFTER the 7 or 14 day treatment. There is NO smell of yeast or fungus and the best part? He stopped scratching his ear after the FIRST day of treatment! This is the EASIEST and MOST effective treatment Ive found yet for treating his ear. Im hopeful that after another 7 or 10 days of this, hell be cured. I have a pug that was suffering from chronic yeast infections of the ear. I spent a lot of money on vet bills. I had to take him in every month for almost two years and even tried other vets but never had any luck getting to the problem. The cost for his vet bills (usually $200.00 monthly )made me feel so hopeless and frustrated so I finally decided to do some research on my own and found this product. My pug , Marley, no longer has had to suffer another ear infection. When I order Zymox online it cost about $17.00 every 2-3 months(I also have 2 mastiffs that I treat just for preventive measures)I put drops in their ears 1-2 times a week. My mastiffs have never had an ear infection Sometimes I feel that maybe Im going overboard with preventive care but the cost far out ways vet bills. If I had to treat just my pug a bottle of the Zymox would last well over 6 months I can not stress how much this product has helped

I have a German Shepard who has always had irritated ears. Shes always scratched them and shakes her head. The vet said she has many allergies to food. He recommended the Zymox and within a couple days she was not scratching anymore. Within a couple weeks they were completely better. I highly recommend this stuff for irritated dogs ears. After a couple weeks of daily use I still had about half the bottle left.

My two Scotties have had countless ear infections (yeast). My Vet usually puts them on a Steroid topical for the ears which I rather avoid. Since using Zymox I can totally keep itchy sore ears under control. I believe in this natural product so much I urged my vet to start carrying it. The Zymox cleaner is great to use once a week to avoid infection.

The antibiotics were hard on her system, the steroids turned her into a zombie and were hard on her system, the ear cleaners were usually pretty foul-smelling and would irritate her already irritated ears-plus they didnt work very well.
And ALL THE ABOVE INEFFECTIVE TREATMENTS/DRUGS WERE EXPENSIVE!
We tried Zymox after reading reviews on the internet, and Im very pleased so far. Zymox is made from 3 natural antimicrobial (antifungal, antiviral, antibacterial) enzymes. Microbes dont build up resistance to these enzymes like they do with antibiotic and antifungal drugs.
I would buy at least 2 containers, because one container will only last about a week of daily use, and treating active infections takes a daily dose for a week (or two weeks for a chronic ear problem).
You cant use any other treatment in the dogs/cats ears when you use this as the other treatment may counter the enzymes in Zymox. Maybe that would account for some folks not having success with this product?
I highly recommend Zymox! Id also recommend you get the Zymox with hydrocortisine, to help keep your pets ears from itching while theyre healing.

Unfortunately this product did not work on my cocker spaniels ear infection. I used it once a day as directed and after 10 days there was no improvement, so I had to ask my vet for some antibiotics. It may be that my dog just had a very bad infection, or perhaps I should have tried using it twice a day. I have read many good things about this product on the internet, so I guess it is working for alot of people. I did like the fact that it is a lot less gunky and oily than the Cerumene/Panalog mixture that my vet likes to use.

I was spending from $250 to $350 three times a year at the vet for ear infections with the bulk of the pricing for meds. I just happened across Zymox on the internet (the web site did not look so dependable but out of desperation I ordered it). I am so glad I did. Whenever my dogs ears flare up (allergies) I use it and I know its hard to believe if your dog suffers from chronic ear infections, but the redness clears up in a day and even if they are swollen to a point you can hear the liquid in the canal it will clear up in couple of days. What a relief.

For my yellow lab Zymox was our last hope for her constant chronic ear infections . We tried everything the vet had to offer and every three weeks the infection came back. We were spending a minimum of $450 each time I took her in for treatment. Antibiotics and steriods was her routine. Injections and then a few weeks of pills a couple times a day. I felt bad for her cause the pills tore up her system. Our next step was going to be surgery to change the shape of her ear canal that might or might not work. $1500 bucks! Then I tried zymox after doing research on the web. It was a miracle! The cost was only $17 including shipping & handling. Her ears cleared up within two weeks and have stayed clear as long as I dont get lazy and forget to do weekly treatments. She also has chronic skin problems and I have used the lotion with great success. Thirty dollars every few months for the zymox products is well worth it!
